Privacy Policy

Effective May 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lifeware Tech LLC (“Build Command Pro,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our construction-management web and mobile applications (the “Service”).

When a workspace uses the Service, the workspace (our customer) controls the project data submitted to it and acts as the controller of that data; we process it on the workspace's behalf as described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plaintext.

Workspace and project content: the data you and your team submit, such as projects, daily logs, RFIs, punch-list items, drawings and specifications, photos (which may contain location metadata), documents, schedules, directory contacts, incidents, bids, estimates, invoices, and electronic-signature envelopes.

Billing information: your plan, billing email, and subscription status. Payment-card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not store full card numbers.

Usage and device information: feature usage and metering (such as AI actions and seats), log and diagnostic data, and, for the mobile app, push-notification tokens. We may collect jobsite location to auto-fill weather on daily logs.

Communications: messages you send us for support or sales.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; to authenticate users and protect accounts; to process subscriptions and billing; to send transactional and service messages (such as confirmations, invites, and notifications); to provide support; and to comply with legal obligations.

3. AI features and your content

Some features use AI to generate drafts, summaries, tags, and answers. To deliver them, we transmit the relevant content to our AI subprocessors, which process it solely to return a result and do not use it to train their models. We do not sell your data, and we do not use Customer Data to train our own models.

4. How we share information

We share information with subprocessors who provide infrastructure and features on our behalf (see the next section), bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

We may disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect our rights and the safety of users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required). We do not sell personal information.

5. Subprocessors

Cloudflare — application hosting and content delivery.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, data and file storage, and email delivery.

Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.

Anthropic, OpenAI, and Groq — AI processing for AI-assisted features.

Intuit QuickBooks — optional accounting sync, only if you connect it.

A weather data provider — to auto-fill jobsite weather on daily logs.

We maintain a current list of subprocessors and will update it as it changes.

6. Data retention

We retain Customer Data for as long as your workspace uses the Service and for a reasonable period afterward to allow for export, recovery, and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You can delete or export much of your data within the Service while your subscription is active.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit, password hashing with a modern, industry-standard algorithm, scoped access controls that isolate each workspace's data, and least-privilege access for our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Workspace members should direct such requests to their workspace administrator; we will assist our customers in responding. You may also contact us directly using the details below.

You can update account information in your profile and manage notification preferences in the Service.

9. International data transfers

We operate using infrastructure that may process and store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.

10. Cookies and tracking

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in and to secure your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in-product). The “effective date” above reflects the latest version.
